On Opening Night for the 2016 CLIC Photo Show, it was announced that the First Place Winner in the “Visible World – Colour” category was “In the Light of Loneliness” by Tara Wilkinson of Bloomfield, Ontario. At the end of the show, all visitor ballots were tabulated and this image was also awarded the People's Choice Award.
The CLIC Photo Show was established in 2010 to celebrate photography as an art form and the creative vision of photographers from across Eastern Ontario. The annual juried Show and Sale showcased the highest quality works of photography by over 100 photographers from throughout Prince Edward County in a professional gallery setting. The show attracted thousands of visitors and buyers, and generated important opportunities for the show’s photographers.
"Photography has been my passion all my life. I won my first camera from the Toronto Star when I was an eleven year old papergirl. I am proud to have had images juried annually into the prestigious CLIC Photo Show in Prince Edward County since it's inception in 2010, and to have received several Awards and Honourable Mentions for my entries". Tara accepts the Juror's Award for her winning image "The Sea is a Harsh Mistress" (Tickle Cove, Newfoundland) from the jurors at the 2020 Art in the County Juried Exhibition and Sale.
